Rarely do we siblings ever get together that it doesn't come up that our dad could not ever say those three words we all so longed to hear, "I love you". to any of us personally. I think when I was about 45 or so I was wallowing in this, and then realized I had never told my father I loved him. So I purposely determined that the next Thanksgiving when we were in TorC that I would make it a point to say those words to him.
