At the age of 14, Dale left home. He lived in a church attic for awhile until the Christianson family invited him to live with them until he finished school. As soon as Dale graduated from high school, he knew he wanted to go to a Christian college. He stood on the side of the road and stuck out his thumb. The first car that picked him up would decide his future – East Coast or West Coast. This young man headed west, and for that, we are all thankful! After enrolling in BIOLA (Bible Institute of Los Angeles), Dale met his future wife, Barbara Voncelle Boyman, who preceded him to heaven on April 3, 1993. Dale and Barbara had two children, Linda Lee Love (Ghione) and Lawrence “Larry” Love. Dale graduated with a degree in theology and went on to become a deacon, pastor and missionary, while working his day job as a Building Contractor. Barbara earned her degree in teaching, and they both lived and worked in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.
